Dynamic Font Authoring

What is character set subsetting in Dynamic Fonts?
Character set subsetting is the process of reducing the character set of a font to match the range of characters used in a specific document. A typical document uses most of the lowercase letters, some of the uppercase, perhaps some numerals, and a few symbols and punctuation marks. When creating a dynamic fonts, most dynamic font tools include only the characters used in the document, leaving out the unused ones. This can greatly reduce the size of the dynamic font, which reduces download time.
