FTP - File Transmission Protocol

What is FTPS or FTP-SSL?
FTPS (also known as FTP Secure or FTP-SSL) is an extension to the commonly used File Transfer Protocol (FTP) that adds support for the Transport Layer Security (TLS) and the Secure Sockets Layer (SSL) cryptographic protocols.

Note:
  1. To upload your website to your Plesk panel Hosting package, you need to use FTPS on Port 21.
  2. You can use FTPS in Web Circuit India's cPanel Linux Hosting on Port 21.
  3. Some FTP clients support both FTPS modes: Explicit and Implicit. In such FTP clients, the Explicit (FTPES) mode needs to be selected.
