Changing Name Servers

In order to host your website using your Domain Name, you will need to set the Name Servers of your Domain Name, to point to the Name Servers provided by your Web Hosting Company.Contact your Web Hosting Company and find out from them the Name Servers you need to use. If your hosting provider is Web Circuit India, then it will be fixed automatically. Follow the steps below to Manage your Name Servers

Step. I. Login to your control panel. Enter the domain name in the 'Jump to Domain' text box and press enter key.




Step. II. Domain management page appears. Click on the 'Name Servers' link




Step. III. 'Manage Name Servers' popup window appears. Enter the name servers in the respective text boxes. If you have more than three name servers then click on 'Add More' link (Marked as 2 in the Image). to expand the text boxes list. Finally click on the 'Update Name Servers'


If the Domain Name is Locked, you will have to Unlock this Domain Name first by referring to Lock / Unlock

If at this step you get an error stating Name Server is not yet registered, this implies that the Name Servers you are using have not been registered with the Registry. Please contact your Web Hosting Company and ask them to provide Name Servers that are valid and registered with the Registry
