I can receive but can't send mail via outlook express

By: Team (Support)   Posted on: January 1, 2012

This problem is most likely caused by your email service or ISP is blocking the connections. In an attempt to control unsolicited email (spam), some Internet service providers now block port 25, which means you could experience technical problems when sending email. Port 25 has been defined as the standard port for sending email messages when your mail program uses protocols like POP3 but the same port can be used by Scammers and spammers to do their dirty work without your permission.

If you are having trouble sending email, you may need to use port 465 (recommended) or 587. For getting the exact port, you need to go to the technical support website for the ISP. The details of port used by our mail servers will be available in "welcome message" received during your registration. You can get these information again from the support section of Web Circuit India.
