Creating a subdomain

Step. 1. Sign into your WebSitePanel and Click on the 'Domains' icon




Step. 2. 'Domains' page appears. Click on "Add Domain' button




Step. 3. 'Add New Domain' page appears. Click on 'Sub-domain' link




Step. 4. Enter a name for your subdomain (1). You can select the top-level domain this subdomain will belong to from the list host in case multi domain hosting (2)


Select 'Create WebSite' (3), 'Enable DNS' (4) from 'Provisioning Options'. You can select 'Create Instant Alias' (5) in case you need to test the site before its propagation. Finally click on the 'Add Domain' button.


Step. 5. 'Domains' page appears. You can edit the subdomain settings by clicking on the name.




Step. 6. 'Edit domain' page appears. From this page you can edit 'DNS' setting and delete the instant alias. Finally click 'Save' button
