Stop/restart an application pool
Step.1. Login to your hosting control panel and Click on 'Web' icon and select Websites from the popup menu.
Step.2. Websites list page appears. Click on the "Website name" link
Step.3. 'Website Properties' page appears. Click on the 'Application Pool' Start/stop button. If the application pool is live it shows 'Application pool Started' else shows 'Application pool Stopped'
Note: You have to ensure that the 'Dedicated Application Pool' check box under 'Security Settings' should be selected. (Marked as 1 in the above image) else slect it and then press 'Update' button (2).
