I added the counter code to my HTML, but I still don't see a counter when I look at my page. What's wrong?
A few conditions might be causing this problem to occur. Follow the steps outlined below in order to troubleshoot the cause of the problem.
  1. Start by viewing and then refreshing your web page containing the counter. Then select "view source" from the "view" menu. (Your browser may have these options configured differently.)
  2. Examine the source HTML and confirm that it contains the counter code that you inserted. Make sure that it's syntax is correct. The tag must be exact as even a simple misspelling or missing character will cause the counter to not display.
