Set Default Address

Step. 1. Login to your Cpanel, and go to "Mail" section in the home page. In that click on 'Default Address'




Step. 2. 'Default Address Maintenance' page appears. Enter the required fields as follows


  1. Select the domain for which you wish to set up a default address.
  2. Select either Discard with error to sender
  3. Enter an error message for the sender to read.
  4. Or Select Forward to email address
  5. Enter the address in the text box. You do not need to type “@” and the domain name.
  6. You can also click Advanced Options to Discard incoming messages without an automatic response. This option is not recommended since the sender will be unaware that the delivery failed.
  7. Finally click on the 'Change' button.
A catchall is an account that receives messages sent to non-existent email addresses at your domain name. A catchall email address can ensure that genuine and possibly important communication intended for you is NEVER missed.
